Summary
-
survey narrow strip of sky in order to monitor photometrically and
astrometrically millions of extragalactic objects down to (very) faint limiting
magnitudes (with emphasis on gravitational lenses);
-
study of microlensing effects, detection of supernovae, thus contribution to
an independent determination of cosmological parameters;
-
application of deconvolution techniques to study dynamical and spectral
properties of quasars and/or of their host galaxies in addition to the detailed
studies of gravitational lenses (incl. their photometric monitoring).
