Most of the pictures of the Hale-Bopp comet shown here have been taken in the Belgian Ardennes; some have been obtained at Cointe, in the outskirts of the city of Liège; lastly, from March 20 to 24 and from May 1 to 8, I have photographed the comet from the Jungfraujoch observatory, located in the Swiss Alps, at an altitude of 3580 meters above sea level.
