Eta Car is not known as a non-thermal radio emission, but strong evidence for particle acceleration in this system comes from the detection of hard X-rays (Viotti et al.2004, Leyder et al.2008, Sekiguchi et al.2009) and gamma-rays (Tavani et al.2009, Farnier et al.2011). This is the first system in the catalogue to have been identified as a gamma-ray emitter.
