Quality flag (Q): I
Comments:
The central system is responsible for a spectacular pinwheel nebula (Callingham et al. 2019).
The synchrotron emission region has been resolved with the LBA (Marcote et al. 2021).
Apep is by far the brightest synchrotron radio emitter in the catalogue (Callingham et al. 2019, Marcote et al. 2021).
The modelling of the radio emission from Apep based on time series spanning about 3 decades of measurements suggests anisotropic winds, and a low frequency turn-over due to FFA (Bloot et al. 2021).
Non-thermal X-ray emission has been identified thanks to NuSTAR data (del Palacio et al. 2023). Apep is thus to date the only PACWB identified as a non-thermal radio and high-energy emitter.
